Batobalani

ni: Berlin Flores

Pinipilit kong labanan
ang grabedad
ng iyong mga titig.


Kung bakit hindi ka man umimik,
tila ba hinihila ako
palapit,

sa 'yong mga dibdib.


Sa mahika ng 'yong mga mata,
manlalakbay akong umamot
ng pagpapahingalay.


Masaya na ako rito.
Maaari nang humimbing.


Sapagkat wala nang mas matimbang pang gahum,
kundi ang gahum

ng 'yong mga titig.
